False Prophets


 Todays world is Oxymoronic.  People live in constant conflict, but some of the most atrocious are those that "Claim" to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Nearly all churches are money making tax shelters, bilking the citizenry out of their pay. The Churches used to be charged with caring for widows and orphans, and offering a sanctuary to those who need it.  That sense of community has long been replaced by unscrupulous Elmer Gantry types who sell religion as a confidence scheme. 

Today in 107° heat in Salt Lake City, The supposed home of "The Church of Latter Day Saints," droves of Homeless people are seeking shelter. While this multi billion dollar enterprise continues to build lavish temples all over the world, no one can reside in. Bankers and politicians continue to profit while the population, continue to bear the economic brunt of a gouging, unjust system. 

Right now, this Global Mega church could house every living soul on the planet,  and still make a profit.

These same so called Christians embroil themselves in political yammering to advance their own sociological agendas, barely conscious of the actual teachings of Jesus. To Love one another, even your enemies, to give assistance to those in need, to never stand in judgment of another, to stand up for whats right, but also to forgive. These principles are moot when the one True evil prevails...The Love of Money.

This world of False Prophets are seeking only one thing, Real Profits.

Prayer is the answer, 

but only if you believe.

 We seem to be defined by our display of flags... Each person more than likely owns one. Most are National flags representative of the country one resides in, or was born into. Some are school banners, where one was educated, while others represent their favourite sports teams. The Disparity of Christianity in a Capitalist society

  Today’s capitalist society is antithetical to any semblance of Christianity. People whose only concern is to aquire more and more while others around them suffer, are not following the teachings of Jesus Christ. He said that it was easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of Heaven.  He slso told a rich man to sell everything he had, give it to the poor, then pick up his cross and follow him. I was written that this troubled the rich man greatly.  The truth is that to be a true Christian is to be in service, something that is sorely lacking in todays communities.  I see so many homeless,  begging on corners in Salt Lake City, a supposed hub of the "Church of Jesus Christ, of the Latter Day Saints" but the only thing I have experienced here, is pure,  unadulterated greed. The War on the Poor

 Well, the war on the poor is now in full swing. Many migrants who, for years and years, have come to this country to do the jobs white Americans refuse to do, are now under attack from this blatantly Racist and xenophobic regime. Mostly construction labour, harvesters and fruit and vegetable pickers, and service workers. This year has seen record numbers of unharvested crops, literally rot off the vine because of bigotry,  from white supremacist politicians in the Republican party. They sabotaged this countries own stability, to stick it to some of the hardest working people in this country.  All because of hate. Immigrant farm labourers are notoriously underpaid, and abused by a system that keeps them in poverty.  Many unions protect farmers from being abused by trade, but not migrants employed as agricultural labourers, and those employed in the domestic services of any person, family or home.
