 The conservative right has been on the wrong side of most issues. For years we were told that Global warming was a myth, by the politicians being supported by the worst polluters on the planet. Still they insist that everthings fine... with intense heat, while the world burns. Australia got a clue, when in 2020, the worst wildfire season on record devastated the country. During the pandemic,  they claimed it was a hoax, refused to wear PPE, and perpetuated what should have been containable with "Super Spreader Events" all to stroke the narcissistic need of one idiot. They claimed "dont tred on me!" By being forced to wear masks, but now want to remove a womans right to choose. America is inundated with mass murdering. Every week some lunatic grabs his high powered assaut weapon and mows down whole groups of people in seconds. Lax background checks with zero psychological evaluation are only part of the problem.  Todays world is Oxymoronic.  People live in constant conflict, but some of the most atrocious are those that "Claim" to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ. Nearly all churches are money making tax shelters, bilking the citizenry out of their pay. The Churches used to be charged with caring for widows and orphans, and offering a sanctuary to those who need it.  That sense of community has long been replaced by unscrupulous Elmer Gantry types who sell religion as a confidence scheme.  Today in 107° heat in Salt Lake City, The supposed home of "The Church of Latter Day Saints," droves of Homeless people are seeking shelter. While this multi billion dollar enterprise continues to build lavish temples all over the world, no one can reside in. Most people think that their existence can foster change, and that by standing for what is right and redeemable in their eyes, changes will result. This is unfortunately not the case. Guy Fawkes, whose face inspired the mask in the film "V" thought so too.  He attempted to blow up parliament in the Gunpowder Plot of 1605. His treason against the crown was followed by days of torture on the rack in the Tower of London,  and his subsequent execution where before he was hung, he fell from the ladder and died.  He was drawn and quartered, and each piece of his corpse was sent to the four corners of the city, an example of how the authority treated conspirators  Today "Anonymous" has adopted his likeness to show opposition to this Authoritarianism.  I think that those followers mean well, while some are out and out Anarchists who despise all governance.
