End The Monarchies begin with Cultural Reparations
The year is 2022.
To think that outdated systems or rule, like a monarchy could still exist is preposterous.
The advent of the internet has seen the exposure of cultural abhorrences,
from indigenous land grabbing, to the theft of historical, even sacred objects, now on display at museums of Anglo colonizers, far from the native culture from which it spawned.
Today Lakota tribesmen can only visit their sacred relics in white held stongholds that quietly keep them boxed away from public view.
Elitist auction houses like Sotheby’s continue to hock precious indigenous creations to the highest bidder, with no regard for their places in indigenous rituals and history.
Looting by armies has been a long held practice, but today, elitists have no right to Lord over these priceless and historical pieces of art.
Upon Queen Elizabeth's death, prince William inherited 1.2 Billion worth of properties and goods, much of which was taken by force.
Once again, the monarchy continues to thrive, while austerity measures are levied against the poor.
Kings and Queens, Princes, and Princesses have long been revered by those who can only see the glamorous pageantry of opulence, a fairytale dream they think they can somehow attain, believing in a Cinderella story.
The elite reside on an elevated stage that separates them from the common,
and the truth is that these are heights that will never be reached by those at the bottom, who still admire it.
Today people everywhere speak of having equal rights, where everyone is treated fairly, and the same, without regard of status.
Trump has proven that the elite have a different set of rules that only they abide by. He has broken law after law, and continues to flourish without ever facing the consequences of his actions. If a common citizen committed just one of his heinous acts, they'd be looking out iron bars right now.
Arab Spring taught us that people can rise up and take control, although in the vacuum of tyranny, many other unscrupulous actors in elitist circles can move in and continue the practice of ill governance.
The meat of this dissertation is the revelation of Class warfare, which for centuries has kept the lowest low, and the highest high.
A social example would be white corporate types raking in fortunes, in todays ever expanding cannabis market, while poor street dealers are still being arrested (particularly those of colour) for illegal trafficking of the same substance, predominantly in Red states.
Two sets of laws for two classes of people.
The rulers however, seem to be exempt from all law, whle they continue to strip indigenous populations of their land and mineral wealth.
There will never be equality in this world, as long as the elite classes continue to rule over others.
The Queen is Dead
It's time to end the Monarchy as well.
Acclaimed journo John Oliver, just released a piece on Antiquities that everyone should see.
